In our busy world, it is easy to find ourselves caught in a struggle with a limited understanding of where the struggle comes from or why it even exists. It can feel overwhelming just trying to meet the outer demands of life, let alone understanding the more inward struggle. I see therapy as a space; a needed, safe space to slow life down for even a fraction of a day to focus on the struggle and its solutions. My approach to therapy is inward-searching, awakening inner knowledge and insight to find solutions. For me, this work is sacred, as we are on a journey to understand and find our true selves. Therapy can come in many forms. It can be short-term, focusing on a specific solution to a specific problem, or it might be of a longer duration in order to explore deeper issues that have reappeared in life a second time, a third time, or more. The depth, length, and modality of therapy will be guided by your needs, wishes, and goals. I have over 10 years’ experience working with individuals, couples, families, and groups using short- and long-term modes of therapeutic work.
