I believe that every person has the potential for growth and self-actualization, regardless of age, background, or beliefs. We are part of the same world but are impacted differently by people, environments, and life in general. Often, these factors are accompanied by trauma, tragic losses, unhealthy relationships, and sometimes addictions, which negatively influences a person’s ability to live a balanced life and experience positive emotions. I am devoted to helping individuals achieve their full potential. With reverence and unconditional positive regard, I meet each person where they’re at with empathy and compassion. I have experience in the areas of trauma and PTSD, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, and addiction, which has increased my understanding of why and how certain unhealthy behaviors can persist as a result of distressing past experiences. I am eclectic in my approach and will offer a variety of strategies based on the person’s needs. Reaching out for help can be difficult, however, it is the first step toward self-care.
