Therapist Overview
** Practice is currently full – have waitlist**. I have been a psychotherapist for over 20 years, and have worked in many types of settings (i.e., community mental health, hospital settings, school based mental health and the correctional system). Along with a BA in Psychology from the University of Alberta, a BSW from the University of Windsor, & a MSW from Smith College, I have also completed post-graduate training at UMass-Amherst. I have been supervising clinicians for 10+ years. I work with individuals (children, adolescents, and adults), as well as with couples and families. My focus is on working with people to promote psychological health and make positive life changes. I have extensive training in psychodynamic models, CBT, and client centered approaches; along with short-term and longer term approaches. I believe in tailoring the approach to the individual client, and his/her/their situation as well as goals.
