Jessica Tucker

My work is with young people; teens, transitional aged youth, and millenials. My clients are often from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds, intelligent, creative, ambitious individuals who have been feeling overwhelmed, stuck or unfulfilled. Perhaps, they are experiencing a life transition that is impacting their day to day functioning, stress, or sense of identity. Whether it be overcoming a recent traumatic experience, grieving a recent loss, recovering from a breakup, becoming a parent, starting a new career, or adjusting to a new city. Let’s navigate it together. My approach is both compassionate and direct. This work is collaborative and I hold my clients accountable to be honest, trustworthy, and loving towards themselves and others throughout the process. I relentlessly promote self empowerment and self compassion. My role is to guide, teach and support you in order to adapt, move forward and live your best life. My hopes are that throughout this process you will discover your potential and cultivate self-compassion. These are the ingredients for resilience and courage. I want you to be able to take what you have learned in therapy and apply it to deepening the connection you have within your relationships with friends, family and work.
