Therapist Overview

I work with individuals, couples, parents, and families from diverse backgrounds. I am passionate about helping clients decrease emotional distress in their lives in order to restore purpose and connection. I believe change is possible when people feel safe to explore their values, hopes, dreams, commitments, and purpose, as well as their disappointments and hurts. I aim to help clients “slow down,” encouraging reflection and insight, and the development of healthy coping strategies to create sustainable change. My stance is curious and flexible reflecting my belief that clients are the experts on their lives. I work with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship conflict/disconnection, parenting concerns, life-stage transitions, divorce, blended families, trauma, and identity. I am empathic, direct, and also playful in style. My work with couples integrates Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy and the Gottman Method. I earned my Masters Degree in Psychology at Antioch Un
