Therapist Overview
Have you been in therapy and had mixed results, or, you’ve wanted to go deeper? Or, Are you new to therapy and looking for a holistic approach? Consider working with me. I go beyond traditional talk therapy by integrating the mind, body, and spirit. This means we can access and heal much more than the cognitive approach that most therapies focus on. I specialize in relationships, anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, eating, sleep, grief, embodiment, mindfulness, and creativity. I can help you achieve balance and wholeness; a knowingness of who you are, what you need and deserve, and how to communicate this effectively. My foundational studies were in Jungian and psychoanalytic methods, I find value in those but went deeper in my training to help you develop somatic awareness (how you hold feelings and memories in your body) and energy visualization work, an incredibly potent process to become fully grounded and clear. Art therapy and poetry therapy is also available. I am a men’s work facilitator, meditation teacher, as well as a poet, visual artist, and yogi. I am also a dedicated father, husband, environmentalist, racial equity ally, and the Co-Founder of SHADOWLIGHT CENTER, a mind-body-spirit group therapy practice.
