Therapist Overview
My goal as a clinical psychologist is to foster change by helping my clients to develop insight into their thought patterns and to understand how one’s thinking impacts on behavior and current emotional functioning. Through the use of cognitive behavioral strategies, and exploration of current and past relationships, I work with my clients to help them develop the necessary tools and insight to improve their overall emotional health. I believe in working in conjunction with other mental health professionals, physicians and schools to maximize client success. I have experience in the treatment of anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder and ADHD, in both children and adults. Experience with special education law, cognitive assessment and learning disabilities enables me to assist parents through the process of obtaining help within the school environment for both learning and behavioral issues. I am a graduate of the Behavior Therapy Institue, which provides extensive training
