For several years Tom directed an Intensive Outpatient Program that provided detox, psychiatric treatment for opioid patients. In 2013 he became actively involved in outpatient mental health treatment as a therapist providing individual, group and couples therapy for Veterans and families dealing with depression, anxiety, PTSD and chronic pain along with substance use disorders and gambling. He has a diverse background & understands the impact of poverty and domestic violence when working with individuals & families. Tom works with adolescent & adults suffering from depression, anxiety & PTSD along with substance use disorders (Including gambling). He is a strong believer in community involvement, as well as exercise and wellness activities for those struggling with mental health and substance use disorders. Tom has spent many years working in various Family Advocacy Programs providing services to military families that were involved in Child Protection, families that were impacted by Domestic Violence, & at risk adolescents. He is committed to providing the highest quality mental health services to at risk populations.
