I am a licensed Marriage and Family therapist and I have been in this field for the past 20 years. I have worked with clients of all ages and from all walks of life. My special interest is in working with trauma. I am trained in Brainspotting and Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM). I also spent 12 years working in a hospital intensive outpatient program for the chronically mentally ill adults and seniors, who taught me a lot about having compassion for those who are suffering, and to find beauty, hope and strength in each person. I am now in full-time private practice and I love what I do. Many people have asked me if my name has any meaning. Iihae (pronounced E-heh) means “Understanding Grace.” I came to appreciate my name as I have encountered special people in my life who really cared about me and extended their grace to me.
