Therapist Overview
After working with individuals, couples, and families for over thirty years I have come to two conclusions. At the root of many problems is a relationship that is or was broken. Secondly, most of us have developed unhealthy coping strategies to deal with the challenges we faced growing up. Those behaviors cause conflict in our most important relationships today. Understanding how these behaviors get in the way and learning new skills will help us achieve our goals. Change is possible! As a Certified Imago Therapist I am highly trained to help individuals, couples and families identify and understand the core issues keeping them from having the relationship they desire. Through specific coaching techniques I help clients move past their pain and reestablish safety and connection. Play therapy, the healing language of children, is an integral part of my practice.
