Therapist Overview
I am grateful that you are here reading this and considering working with me! One of my main goals is to develop a genuine, yet professional relationship with my clients. I strive to meet individuals wherever they might be in their journeys; from there, we can work together to create positive and lasting change. My hope is that I can provide a space where all of my clients feel safe and validated when they share their stories. Once a foundation of trust, acceptance, and understanding is established, I aim to equip my clients with tools and coping skills to face life’s stressors and challenge them toward growth. I have experience working in different levels of care with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, co-occurring substance use disorders, and personal safety concerns. I incorporate several theoretical frameworks into my practice and typically draw from dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and ACT. I recognize that engaging in therapy requires extreme vulnerability and bravery. I aim to be nonjudgmental, respectful, and honest with clients, and I help them recognize their strengths as well as their struggles. I am passionate about using interventions that address each client’s unique needs. I would love to meet you and learn about your story!
