Therapist Overview
Are you ready to thrive, instead of just survive? Do you want to feel more connected to life, your body, soul, and others? I believe we all have the power to heal ourselves. Therapy is a unique, dynamic, and interpersonal process. It allows us to reconnect to our internal wisdom, refine our intuition, and live more fully, with intention. I work with people who are looking for support with depressive feelings and anxiety, identity & sexuality concerns, relationship challenges, and life-transitions. If you feel a general desire to make a shift in your life, therapy may be able to help. Combining a compassionate environment with empirically-validated practices, together we work towards your goals. Trained in psychodynamic and culturally-informed psychotherapy, I integrate mindfulness, spirituality, EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy, hypnotherapy, Emotional Freedom Techniques, among other interventions. I work through a lens of social justice and am LGBTQ+ affirming. Finding the right therapist can be a process, but the only way to know if this is a good match is to reach out. A brief phone screen proceeds a first, in-person meeting. After the first one or two sessions, together we can decide if it’s a good fit.
