I believe everyone has the potential and resources for positive change. My role is to help clients access their own strengths and resilience to make desired changes. I use an experiential, emotion-focused approach to treatment. I work with clients to reduce distress and enhance interpersonal relationships by resolving negative emotional experiences and strengthening attachment bonds. I use play therapy and filial therapy with children and parents, including Child Centered Play Therapy, Child Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT) and Theraplay® principles. I am also trained in therapeutic parenting approaches Trust Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) and Circle of Security®.
