Therapist Overview
An avid believer in mindfulness, I believe that life is best lived in the present moment. I view the relationship between therapist and client as the foundation of the therapeutic process. I strive to create a safe and collaborative space where every client is encouraged to be their most authentic and genuine self. My approach to therapy is person-centered and modified to meet the needs of each individual client. After completing my B.A. in Psychology, I went on to receive a Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from Fordham University. Through my clinical experience I have worked with a range of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, grief, and issues related to gender identity and sexuality. I believe that every person has the capacity for growth and change. In my work, I utilize an integration of techniques from CBT, DBT, and ACT to help clients achieve their unique goals. As your counselor, I will be here to listen and support you on your journey of self-discovery and growth. You don’t have to do it alone, so come on in and let’s talk it out!
