It can be difficult to admit when we are struggling. In a world that can be harsh and unforgiving, we may learn to believe that showing vulnerability means we are weak. That if we share our fears and anxieties with others, that we are burdening them, or giving them ammunition to use against us in the future. These are all common beliefs held by clients when I first see them. Asking for help is not easy. I want you to know that while it may not feel like it, the fact that you are reading this right now is evidence of strength, not weakness. It proves you are working to better your life. I want to help you achieve that. I offer a holistic approach, focusing on how the client’s environment, experiences, relationships, and lifestyle affects them. While primarily utilizing a Cognitive Behavioral approach, I implement a variety of techniques into my therapy so I can best serve my clients to fit their needs.
