( English | español ) I love my job as a therapist and working with those who have come into my office for one reason or another! You will find a great listener and your biggest cheerleader in me, whether you are bringing in your children or adolescents or just you as an adult (English or Spanish). Before becoming a therapist I worked as a bilingual teacher & bilingual parent liaison for 18+ years in East LA, CA, Houston, TX, & Marietta/Smyrna, GA. As a therapist, I am currently working at Road to Recovery which has clinics in Marietta, East Point & in Atlanta, off of Chamblee Tucker & 285. I understand the pain of infertility and the joys of adoption. I do a lot of individual therapy with children and adolescents, but I am not limited to them. I also do family counseling, couple’s counseling, victim counseling, and work with those struggling with anger or substance abuse. I am working to become certified in family violence intervention, substance abuse, couples therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. I look forward to working with you no matter the reason. You can count on me to listen with empathy & compassion but also to challenge & help you rise above your addiction or depression. I will work to provide you with new skills for communication in families & couples to change conflict into caring & kindness or help you get out of an abusive relationship. Soy una nueva therapista de matrimonio y familia y de consejería clinica y salud mental. Tengo mucho experiencia trabajando y ayudando personas empezando con mi tiempo serviendo la gente de Perú por un año y media, trabajando como maestra bilingüe por 10+ años, una enlace bilingüe de los padres por 8 años y ser una esposa y madre. Tenía la experiencia personal de infertilidad y adopción y puedo ayudarle con el suyo. Estoy serviendo clientes que necesitan terapia individual, parejas, familias, niños, adolecentes o grupos de enojo, valores, y abuso de sustancias. Trabajo con jovenes y los problemas que vienen con esto, como depresión, adultos que sufran con depresión, ansiedad, sustancia, etc., con parejas que están en conflito o si sufran de abuso, terapia mandado por el corte incluyendo terapia por el abuso de sustancias. Ese grupo no solo quiere a dejar sus adicciones pero también cambiar su vida. Estoy aquí para servirle en cualquier cosa. Aun que no soy Latina o Hispana, por causa del año y medio serviendo la gente de Perú, mi corte tiempo siendo una estudante en México, y muchas años serviendo los Latinos o Hispanos como maestra y enlace bilingüe, interprete en reuniones grandes y ppequeños y transladora de documentos y ahora terapista bilingüe.
