Throughout our lives we develop belief systems about how and who we ‘should’ be. These systems create thought, emotion, and behavior patterns that lead to an experience of separation and isolation. I view therapy as an odyssey that moves us back into intimate relationship with self and other. As a therapist I provide a collaborative approach in which I assist clients as they develop a practice of curiosity. Together we identify and explore needs, values, and core beliefs. I also teach approachable mindfulness techniques that foster self-compassion, while utilizing somatic resourcing techniques that work to break down self-judgment and shame. Through the therapy process I strive to provide an environment where you will experience increased comfortability being and sharing the beauty that makes you who you are… Who you were… Before you learned how you ‘should’ be.
