Therapist Overview
I am a licensed clinical social worker at Treece and Associates. I earned a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and my undergraduate degree from DePaul University. I offer a holistic, nonjudgmental approach to help clients find their innate strengths, values and resiliency. Through the use of conversation, mindfulness skills, and humor, we will work together to uncover ways to return to a life of fulfillment and balance. I work with clients with depression, LGBTQ+ Identity, anxiety, grief, loss and trauma among other presenting concerns. My clinical approach is eclectic and draws from Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I am especially attuned to the needs of the LGBTQ+ community and provide therapy from a trauma informed lens. When addressing addiction or unhelpful habits, I offer a nonjudgmental, harm reduction based approach. I offer telehealth via a secure platform and offer daytime, evening and weekend appointments. I can be reached by phone at 312-447-9287 or via email at [email protected].
