We spend most of our lives seeking balance, yet resisting change. What would it be like if curiosity toward the future replaced fear? Or if we were able to view struggles in life as opportunities for growth? How might that affect the ways in which we see ourselves? The answers to these questions will be uniquely your own. I use both narrative and systemic approaches in my work. I believe that our lives are composed of story lines given to us from life experience, relationships, and societal norms. Sometimes it is these very stories that can make us feel stuck. I work with adults, adolescents, couples, and families. I have experience working with juvenile offenders, substance abuse, aggression management, and in a community setting. I work to allow clients to push the “pause” button, reflect on where they have been, and take control of where they want to go. It is when we begin to find new meaning that change occurs.
