Therapist Overview
I was born and raised in Chicago, IL and completed my Master’s in Counseling Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Having worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings, I have aided children, teens, young adults, and their families through a plethora of life events. Through my work, I have grown to recognize the challenges that come when individuals or those close to them are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and substance abuse. I believe that positive change can occur through a trusting therapeutic relationship and aim to provide exactly that to my clients. While establishing a therapeutic relationship, I will meet you where you are and help you define your personal, treatment goals. At times, I utilize evidence-based treatments like DBT and CBT, but most importantly I focus on a collaborative approach tailored to each client’s unique needs. In sessions, I provide understanding, support, and a gentle spirit. I bring compassion and humor into the room while I listen to other’s stories, secrets, and struggles. At times, I incorporate music and positive quotes/mantras into sessions if it fits. Above all else, I strive to create a safe environment where you can feel comfortable sharing your story. I look forward to hearing from you soon and sharing in your journey.
