Therapist Overview
My goal as a clinical psychotherapist is to provide a supportive, empathic environment in which clients can feel safe to explore their challenges and issues. I strongly believe that growth in therapy can only occur within a positive relational environment. You will find me very easy to talk to, compassionate and respectful. My approach is strength-based and client-centered. I have experienced success with all ages, which include, children, adolescent, adults and couples who have come to therapy with issues that include depression, anxiety, separation/divorce, grief and loss, medical and terminal illness, work related stress, life transitions, women’s issues and aging. I have extensive experience as a volunteer for the Center for Grieving Children and have volunteer experience at both Camp Sunshine and Hospice of Maine. I welcome the opportunity to speak with you in an effort to determine if I might be a good fit for your therapy goals.
