Therapist Overview
“When we talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary.” – Fred Rogers. My goal is to assist those who experience or have experienced anxiety, depression, trauma, difficulty forming relationships, boundary issues, and difficulty adjusting to new life circumstances and situations to identify healthy coping skills and interventions that minimize symptoms and improve overall quality of life. I welcome all clients and strive to provide a non-judgmental, laid back, and free flowing environment to make clients comfortable and relaxed in their recovery process. I am currently attending Wichita State University to obtain my Master’s in Clinical Counseling, where I also received a BA in Psychology. My background consists of advocating for a diverse population to obtain housing and network with various specialists and community resources. My specialty populations include adolescents and adult and elderly women. It is a privilege to work in this field and assist clients in their recovery. I am currently accepting clients at Real Life Counseling as a student intern under the supervision of Dr. Scott Stegman. My availability includes Wednesday and Thursday nights and Saturday mornings.
