I believe that counseling can be an opportunity for self-exploration, developing strengths, and working through life’s challenges utilizing therapeutic processing. I work with adults, including university students and members of the LGBTQ+ population, who are seeking help with trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions. I work to establish a trusting, non-judgmental relationship with my clients, and create a space where individuals feel safe to work through personal adversity. I incorporate a trauma-informed approach to counseling with a variety of evidence-based treatment models, including EMDR, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy.
