Therapist Overview
I enjoy working with people to help them build a strong sense of self, to encourage their confidence in relationships, and to help foster a sense of calm and security in their everyday life. I enjoy helping parents navigate the many challenges that come our way. I believe people seek therapy for many reasons: adjustment to a new city or life situation, feeling overwhelmed or stuck, or problems with relationships. Counseling is a process and that most of us could benefit from time to time at different stages in life, as it brings an outsiders perspective to events, we are faced with in day to day life in a nonjudgmental way. I specialize in children, adolescents, young adults, and families. I have worked with parents in marital conflict and worked also with individuals on issues that ranged from adjustment disorders to post-traumatic stress disorder. Faith and God’s grace has brought me to this moment. Many years of schooling, residency and now private practice has prepared me to walk alongside my clients through the darkness. I believe in using what works for the client as an individual is what matters.
