Therapist Overview
One thing you know for sure right now is that you want things in your life to be different and to feel better. Likely, there are many things you feel uncertain about, but this is probably not one of them. How do you go about making this happen, though? Maybe you have tried reading, talking to friends or family, browsing the internet, or simply waiting in hopes that things would change on their own. Obviously you are considering talk therapy, and naturally I think it’s a great idea. If you are ready to invite someone into your world to sift through ideas and develop strategies, I would be honored to work together. Although I am trained in assisting clients to navigate through a vast array of human experiences, I find myself particularly effective at helping clients struggling with couple/family relationship issues, grief/loss, life transitions, constant worrying/anxiety, and the stress involved with infertility, adoption, surrogacy, and IVF/IUI. My education is rooted in Systems Theory. The systemic lens through which I see my clients’ lives shapes my role as a therapist. What the heck does this mean?” Mostly, it means that I seldom understand information in isolation or on “its own.” In order to develop our strategy, I will hear and see your story as a myriad of connected details.
