Therapist Overview

As a 1.5 generation Vietnamese-American woman, I can bring understanding to the struggles that come with navigating generational trauma, personal trauma, and cultural and sexual identities. I am continuously aware of how cultural and sociopolitical factors impact your sense of well-being and relationships. I believe together, we can work on overcoming the hurt and pain from your past to help you stop feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or angry moving forward. I will journey with you as you find your happiness, cultivate better relationships, and learn to embrace all aspects of yourself. I provide trauma informed care such as EMDR therapy, especially with the BIPOC community to help with anxiety, depression, and trauma. Additionally, I am certified in PCIT to teach parents skills to enhance their relationships with their children and address behavioral issues. I have training in foster care, adoption related issues, and attachment theory. I strive to respect your worldview and values by providing a safe, sensitive, and non-judgmental environment. If you identify with some of these scenarios and are ready to take steps forward in your healing journey, I would love to help you.
