Therapist Overview

I work with individuals and families through a multitude of issues. I enjoy working with and am passionate about adolescents and families with adolescents. The teen years are such a layered and sometimes difficult period in life that often impacts the entire family, I enjoy helping families to better communicate and connect in order to preserve and improve family functioning. I am experienced in the areas of addiction/recovery, anxiety, depression, stress management, trauma and PTSD, grief and loss, life transitions, family reunification and reconciliation. I have training in DBT, Motivational Interviewing, PTSD/Addiction recovery, co-dependency, support and education for family members and loved ones of addicts/alcoholics. Using Roger’s Client Centered theory as my clinical foundation, I utilize an eclectic mix of modalities in my practice including Narrative therapy, DBT, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychoeducation, Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness.
