My bottom line as a therapist is to provide a safe, respectful, and validating space where you are listened to without judgement, assumptions, or an agenda. My experience taught me to listen beyond words and look beyond appearances and my trainings in music and visual art allow me to do so with greater agility and accuracy, bring us closer to your inner voice and shedding light on your inner world. This foundation of human-to-human understanding will help us work together as partners to reach your goals – whether it is healing, relief, growth, self-exploration, or change – with a deep sense of clarity, peace, and authenticity. With an awareness that “the same water that softens the potato hardens the egg” I am flexible in my approach to honor your individuality. I do my best work with anxiety, trauma/grief/PTSD, and related identity/relationship or emotion/behavior issues such as depression, eating disorder, self-harm, etc. I know from experience that it is not an easy decision to choose a therapist. I offer a free 20-min phone consultation to help you see if you feel comfortable working with me and if we may be a good fit.
