I have been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) since 2008 and became a Registered Play Therapist (RPT) in 2013. I have been providing mental health therapy services to children, teens, and adults for 16 years. My services include individual, family, group, and couples’ therapy. My approach is strengths-based, client-centered, and integrative. I have worked with clients from a variety backgrounds. I have worked in a variety of settings, including public mental health, non-profit counseling centers, a Child Advocacy Center (CAC), and an agency contracted with DFCS to provide in-home and community based services. My specialties include PTSD/trauma, sexual abuse/assault, anxiety, depression, family violence, relationship issues, grief, and working with children ages 2-18. I have experience and specialized training in Play Therapy (including Child-Centered, Theraplay and Sandtray Therapy), EMDR, TF-CBT, Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and CBT. I believe therapy can be helpful to anyone needing support to cope and make changes.
