Therapist Overview
As a clinician, I enjoy working with clients to help them live fuller, more meaningful lives. With a client-centered, strength-based approach, I tailor my interventions to each individual client. I use a variety of therapeutic modalities including, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic, Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) Therapy for the treatment of OCD and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to address anxiety, trauma and PTSD. My work with trauma, in addition to my cross-cultural experiences and deep respect for diversity, gives me an ability to work with people from a myriad of backgrounds and cultures. I have a special interest in exploring the impact of intergenerational and collective trauma on the individual. My work extends to children, adolescents and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, learning differences across the lifespan, ADHD, OCD, identity and cultural issues, life transitions, divorce, and trauma.
