Therapist Overview
I have noticed that the stress and isolation of the pandemic has served as a rite of passage inviting us to move into the next phase of our growth. Old traumas, deep wounds, and key moments of suffering in our lives are arriving to be healed. Painful things we have been able to tolerate are no longer tolerable. Co-arising with the struggle is a renewed desire for peace, belonging, wisdom, and strength. This has been an especially catalytic time for BIPOC and those who belong to marginalized communities. I specialize in trauma, self-growth, decolonization, and self-compassion. I love working with shame, anxiety, sexual assault, accidents, early childhood trauma, intergenerational trauma, and birth trauma. I practice Somatic Experiencing which helps release and renegotiate traumatic events which store in the body. I look forward to providing you a safe, non-judgemental environment in which you can tell your story and be heard. I am glad that you are taking time to look for support.
