Therapist Overview
Are patterns of mental and emotional pain keeping you from a life of joy and meaning? Maybe you feel misunderstood or judged. I am a psychodynamically oriented therapist and offer holistic approaches to help you walk a path of personal growth and transformation. I am also trained in a mindfulness-based, body-centered psychotherapy known as Hakomi Mindfulness-Centered Somatic Psychotherapy. I currently offer counseling for: Depression; Anxiety; Individuals that identify as “perfectionists” or “people pleasers”; Highly Sensitive People (HSP); The LGBTQ community; and those seeking a life of Authenticity. Therapy is a “partnership” – my role is to create a safe space and welcoming environment so that you can study complicated emotions, thoughts, and body sensations. Ultimately, the goal is to help you reconnect to your self, to help you to rediscover your voice, and the meaning behind your struggles.
