Therapist Overview
Depression, anxiety, grief, life changes don’t take a break as we deal with the added stresses of coping with Covid-19. I believe that everyone is striving forward, and that we all have resilience. When feeling overwhelmed or emotionally hurt, it can be hard to find that resilience, but that’s also when we have the greatest capacity for change. Something is motivating you to seek help. Whatever is it, you don’t have to go it alone. I provide an emotionally safe, caring, and non-judgmental space where we can work together to find your unique path forward. I work with older teens & adults with depression, pre-natal depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, chronic illness, adjustment to college, major life stresses or transitions, and including dealing with Covid-19. I have a calming, conversational style, integrating insight, mind-body approaches, mindfulness and some CBT, all tailored to meet your unique needs. A positive therapeutic relationship is at the heart of success in psychotherapy
