Therapist Overview
I am a long time resident of Gillette with many ties to the community. I received my Bachelors in Criminal Justice in 2007 for Kaplan University and worked in the field for several years. In 2009, I returned to school to pursue my masters in counseling. In May of 2013 I graduated for Walden University with my Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling. I am currently a licensed professional counselor (LPC-1505) in the State of Wyoming. I have 2 1/2 years experience working with troubled adolescents in a residential facility and male inmates in the correctional system. I enjoy helping youth and families empower themselves to be successful. I utilize an integrative approach when working with clients because each person is unique with the ability to empower themselves with guidance. I enjoy 4-wheeling in the mountains with my husband, snuggling with my puppies, repurposing old into new, and spending time with friends and family.
