Therapist Overview

I am motivated by a genuine curiosity to understand each person’s unique perspective, and I believed that successful therapy begins with providing individuals a space to be authentic and vulnerable. I view counseling as a conversation about your story, a process to empower you to make meaning of your experiences, challenges and ambitions. I believe that all clients have the capacity for self-discovery and problem solving. Therefore, I work collaboratively with pre-teens, adolescents, adults and couples to improve emotional control, develop self-acceptance, and cultivate fulfilling relationships. I am an EMDR-trained, licensed mental health counselor associate (LMHCA), national certified counselor (NCC), and trained school counselor, and I hold professional membership with the American Counseling Association (ACA).
