Therapist Overview

“Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it.” – Brene Brown. Unfortunately, life can be hard and confusing. Sometimes we suffer for a long time, and can manage. But sometimes we need to ask for help. I am passionate about creating a very safe environment in which clients can share their stories, their struggles and their hopes for the future. I find that many of my clients also want guidance in practical and effective ways to begin changing their lives. I respond to this need by using clinical knowledge and interventions. My approach can be described as warm, accepting and collaborative. I help clients make sense of problems, as well as find effective solutions. I have worked extensively with Anxiety/Stress, Panic Attacks, Suicidal Ideation, Self-Harm, Social Anxiety, Life Transitions, Relationship Problems, Eating Disorders, Childhood Issues, Divorce, Grief/Loss & Identity.
