**Currently full** I specialize in trauma; both the one time kind and the kind that has built over a lifetime. I am particularly passionate about the unique ways having a baby stirs the soul and the old stories that shift or emerge at this time in our life. Sometimes it is hard to identify trauma, sometimes it’s obvious. Sometimes we just know that what is happening in our mind/body is bigger than this moment. Trauma changes our story and how we react to life, other people (including our babies), and ourselves. Trauma leads to isolation and reactions can feel overwhelming or as if there are none at all. Pacing, compassion, and curiosity are important values to my practice. I work from the perspective that it is critical to take therapy beyond the talking. Therapy needs to be creative, relational, engaging as well as comfortable to help us truly understand our experiences and create lasting and positive healing change.
