We are a group of over 20 therapists committed to reaching underserved populations throughout the State of Maryland. Teletherapy is covered by most insurances with equal benefits as in-person treatment. Research has demonstrated that videotherapy is just as effective as face-to-face therapy. That said, it is not recommended for those who are experiencing suicidal or homicidal ideation or for those who need medical monitoring (addiction detox, eating disorder early recovery, etc.) or for children under the age of 12.
