I began my career in 1979 with a spiritual gift for serving others. Obtaining an MSW in 2007, my graduate internship launched a church-based ministry offering Christian counseling. Currently a LICSW I use evidence/research-based techniques, including cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused and narrative therapy to strengthen client and family systems. I have proven competent in my clinical practice and am ready to assist clients in realizing their resilience in moving forward towards a positive future. Client’s engage in an initial intake session during their first appointment, offering both client and therapist time to establish a good relationship and discuss presenting issues. Clients take a variety of assessments, helping both client and therapist complete a comprehensive treatment plan in which goals and an approximate number of sessions are discussed.
