Therapist Overview

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist with over 16 years of experience conducting individual, couple’s and family therapy in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings and private practice. I have worked with a broad range of client’s facing challenges related to personal growth and fulfillment, relationship dissatisfaction, life-cycle changes, substance abuse and dual-diagnosis disorders. My approach to therapy is from a systemic framework, believing that personal change requires an examination of the larger system or environment in which each individual exists. This approach integrates a variety of strategic and solution-focused behavioral interventions. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology (1998), Fairfield University Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family (2001), Fairfield University
