Therapist Overview
Providing therapy is my passion, since I find all people intriguing. I have 20 years’ combined experience in inpatient and partial hospitalization environments, and outpatient counseling. I work with adults of any age, and provide individual and family counseling. I am married and have two grown children, and three grandchildren. I have been a homeschool teacher. My work includes these diagnoses: Anxiety, Depression, Marital Conflict, Parent-Child Conflict, Chronic Pain, Life change/adjustment and PTSD. In Grand Rapids, check out website Counselingcenterwm.org. I utilize primarily psycho-dynamic therapy with individuals, and a developmental model of “stages” with couples. Where appropriate, homework may be assigned between sessons. Other therapies I use include Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I am available some evenings, and can see people who want to come after school/work. The phone number 833-958-1389 (a “cover” number) will connect you with
