Exploration will begin with examining home life, social skills, and aspects of career or school. If one is struggling with any of these elements, it is likely having a negative impact on other areas. In addition, I can improve a student-athlete’s performance in competition. By taking the same approach, an athlete can maximize their potential by identifying and improving other areas of their life away from the game. What I bring to the therapeutic setting is a variety of skill sets and experiences, evidenced by the following: 8 years as a therapist for the juvenile court system, 15 years as a therapist, 25 years as a high school basketball coach, and 26 years as a school teacher, counselor, and administrator.
