Therapist Overview

I treat depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relational issues, family conflict, and life-transitions. Therapy is a safe place where you can identify your strengths; rework unhelpful patterns of thought, emotion, and behavior; clarify your emotional needs; and explore ways to make your relationships more fulfilling and mutually rewarding. Along the way, we will work together to find ways to manifest new skills and competencies in your daily life. My interactive style is warm, intuitive, active, and deeply engaged. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and young adults. Attachment Theory, Family Systems Theory, and Reichian Character Analysis form the bedrock of my therapeutic work. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Symptom Relief, and Solutions Focused Therapy to expedite symptom relief. I’ve trained for many years in Orgonomy – the mind/body discipline developed by Wilhelm Reich. Along with other theoretical approaches, the Orgonomic perspective helps create a life-enhancing therapy whereby patients grow in compassion and bring more personal integrity into their lives.
