Therapist Overview
I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults. My work comes from an understanding that people are inseparable from their network of relationships, and I use a family systems approach to help individuals work through their struggles. I am a trauma-informed therapist, and I use a combination of person-centered and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to work collaboratively and compassionately with clients to help discover the best methods for resolving difficulties. I help challenge negative thought processes and behaviors that create obstacles, and work together with clients towards creating the change they want. I use a family systems approach. I believe in using a person centered and strengths based approach, helping channel an individuals strengths creatively and productively. I also use CBT strategies. I am an LGBTQIA+ affirmative therapist.
