Life throws curves leading to an overwhelming feeling and we lose our footing on the journey of life. Whether you are struggling with life goals, relationship issues, feeling depressed or anxious, finding yourself triggered to think of past trauma, struggling to understand what is best for your child, or just uncertain of what may be going on in your life, I have an open ear to be non- judgmental and to help you find overall wellness. I feel that counseling is a path to wellness and positive change, in which the client is an active participant in the process of regulating life. We will look at you as a whole person- Mind Body Spirit I am comfortable working with children, adolescents, and adults, as well as families and couples. Some of the treatment approaches I incorporate are Strength- base System focused, Cognitive Behavioral, Mindfulness, Trauma Focused approaches, Motivational Interviewing, and DBT therapeutic techniques. I am trained in Theraplay and Seeking Safety Curriculums. No matter what the age or what the issue I have found that most people have the ability to cope with life when they recognize their abilities and find supports that are sustaining. I will help you work towards finding balance and ability to use your strengths to get thru the difficult things you may be facing. I have a flexible schedule to fit your needs.
