Therapist Overview
If you peek into a day in the life of my practice, I am typically seeing teens and young adults with eating disorders (ex: anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, avoidant restrictive food intake disorder). I began this journey at Children’s Health in Plano where I was trained as a therapist in the inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient levels of care. From there, I went on to a leadership role as Assistant Program Director at Center For Discovery in Dallas. Eating disorders are no joke! You need someone with solid experience to make sure you are safely and knowledgeably guided through the recovery process. While I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders, I also work with clients (typically teens) struggling with depression, anxiety, non-suicidal self injurious behavior and suicidality. I also love to host parent support sessions. Nothing makes me happier than when a parent says “I want to learn how to help my child, I am open to this.” My mission is to help you get the help you need. If I cant help you, I will make every effort to connect you with someone who can. My desire is to treat every client and family with respect for their time and experience. My goal is to always be innovating and curating care to your individual needs. I hope we get the opportunity to work together!
