*Not accepting new clients* My ideal client is a client who understands that therapy does not fix you because you are not broken. The ideal client understands that therapy helps them to uncover strengths and learn new skills that will allow them to deal with the challenges that arise in life. Therapy is an interactive process between the client and clinician. My treatment strategies are rooted in an existential approach. I do not believe in a one-size-fits all approach therefore I do not prescribe to a set of techniques and procedures, I draw techniques from a variety of therapeutic modalities to better accommodate my clients needs. I received my Doctorate Degree (PhD.) in Educational Psychology from Drexel University. I hold Masters Degrees in Criminology and Counseling Psychology from the University of Maryland, Eastern Shore and Johns Hopkins University, respectively. I recently earned an Ed.S. degree in school psychology from Millersville University. I use evidence-based practices as a framework in working with adolescents and adults to address your specific needs, including mood disorders, behavioral problems, anxiety, and other specialized treatment. Session work typically consist of modifying behaviors, addressing unhealthy thinking patterns, and establishing new skills to achieve personalized goals.
