Offering both telehealth & in-person counseling at this time. After ten years working in the mental health and addictions treatment field, I decided to open my own practice for a very specific reason. I have seen and experienced first-hand that the most significant relationship in one’s life is the relationship with one’s self. This relationship is oftentimes short-changed and harmed before it even has a chance to begin flourishing, based on circumstances, events, and environments. And, rather than focus solely on symptom management, I have seen the irrefutable benefit of digging in and focusing on what lies beneath the surface. I have an honest belief that each “self” in the world is inherently good. That’s why IBG Counseling is dedicated to helping individuals to acknowledge their intrinsic goodness; uncover the root causes of their difficulties; embrace their capability and worth; and learn to live in truth.
