Therapist Overview
I am currently not accepting new clients. I am a licensed professional counselor and registered play therapist working in my own practice with children, teens, and adults. While the work we do is serious, I provide a comfortable environment filled with light, humor, and genuine positive regard. I offer a lively and interactive experience regardless of your needs. I am trained in several models, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), play therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS); however, I believe a solid therapeutic relationship is the foundation for growth and change. I am insight-oriented and trauma informed. I approach therapy from a collaborative and experiential perspective. I want to know about your life—your strengths, your challenges, your dreams, and your fears. I want to know you; together we can discover your superpowers and find ways to help you achieve your goals and live a life with meaning. I work with individuals and families experiencing struggles with relationships, life transitions, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, parenting, separation/divorce (children), anger, and gender issues. I am EMDR- and IFS-trained, a Registered Play Therapist and RPT Supervisor, and state-approved LPC supervisor.
