In NY/NJ, I work well with issues such as: anxiety; depression; trauma; self esteem; single parents; familial and other relationships. I also work with children and their families who exhibit ADHD/ ODD. As a therapist, I will guide you with support to help you navigate through your internal experiences. I provide a warm place with patience, and hold the critical emotional space to help you attune to these experiences, at your pace! With expansive compassion and a psychodynamic lens, I use skills within IFS, EMDR, Somatic Intervention, and CBT modalities. Life includes a variety of feelings. On the surface we feel good or bad. If we decide to explore this on deeper levels we will discover that we are wired to feel safe. When there is a potential threat, our system defends against it (with good intentions to maintain safety). We get lost in feeling bad, guilt or shame, I want to help you to feel better!
